CHALMERS PAGE CONSULTANCY
Whether you need to understand your organisation’s needs or your own career path, you need a listener.
Chalmers Page Consultancy turns real, in depth conversations with your team or they people who you are trying to help into useful reports and feedback you can work with. The two main approaches are:
- Consultancy services, including opportunistic evidence reviews, rapid evaluation work, interviewing stakeholders for quality improvement, and turning feedback and evidence into useful ideas for action.
- “Tell Me…”; stand alone interviews with founders, people at career pivots, or other people who want to tell their stories in their own way and turn them into a useful profile for biographies, marketing or other applications.
Although these sound quite different, they share a close emphasis on listening, gathering evidence and clearly communicating the nuances of what comes out of that information.

Services that I offer
Consultancy Services
Providing over ten years of consultancy expertise across the NHS, Local Authorities, and the charitable sector, combining evidence-based analysis with deep insight into people’s lived experiences to support meaningful, inclusive, and effective service improvement.
Tell Me
I will listen to your story, pay attention to when your body language shifts or prompt you when you’re missing an exciting bit out, and write up an article about your own story.
Frequently asked questions
The interview, writing it up as a story and one round of amendments costs £300, with discounts for the NHS, charities, CICs and people who have been made redundant from the public sector.
I can’t answer that until I know what you are hoping to do. My projects have varied from £800 for a very quick, pragmatic review of evidence through to £5000 for a full evaluation with multiple interviews, surveys, evidence reviews and rounds of reports. We can discuss what you are looking for by email or online meeting, and work out prices from there.
If you have a budget in mind, it helps if you can share that with me; I’m always happy to discuss requirements and trim the work to suit what’s realistic.
Yes, if your existing person is happy for me to do so. I have frequently taken a collaborative approach, and it can work really well to have more than one area of expertise and way of thinking on a project.
I primarily work remotely.
I am open to face to face working in Edinburgh and East Lothian, between 10am and 2pm, and can come to face to face meetings in Glasgow, Mid and West Lothian, the Borders and Stirling between 11am and 1pm, with reasonable travel expenses payable.
Chalmers Page Consultancy primarily works with the NHS, Local Authorities, Community Interest Companies and Charities, predominantly around health, wellbeing, care and similar areas. I am open to working with organisations outside those remits, as long as I think my skills will suit your work.
“Tell Me…” has a broader focus. I have worked with founders in a range of industries, from health and coaching through to finance and corporate career change. If your organisation aligns with my values, I am happy to tell your story. Those values include inclusion, human rights, and trying to reduce the damage we do to the environment. At this time, that means I will not work with organisations promoting war, exclusion, or with gig economy platforms (although I will work with people currently working as gig economy workers).
